Hi, I’m Ellen.
I like helping people feel more at home in their lives.
If something in your world feels a little “off” — your space, your garden, your energy, your gatherings — I’m here as a extra pair of hands. This is a small, real-person project alongside my full-time job. You can think of it as: “Hey, can you help me make this feel better?” and the answer is usually yes.
What I offer
Home & Space Refreshes
Light decluttering, arranging, and styling to make your rooms feel calmer, cozier, and more you. Think: rearranging what you already have, creating little sacred corners, making daily life flow easier.
Gardens & Herbal Spaces
Support with simple garden layouts, herb beds, pollinator patches, porch/stoop pots, and plant choices that match your actual life (and capacity). I’m especially happy working with herb gardens.
Energy Support (Reiki)
I’m a Level I Reiki practitioner and offer short, grounding, hands-on (or hands-off) sessions to support nervous system softness and a sense of reset. This is a non-medical, “let’s give your body a kind moment” kind of option.
Slow Event Support
Help planning or hosting small things: porch dinners, tea circles, birthdays, housewarmings, work retreats, creative gatherings. I focus on flow, warmth, and details that make people feel welcome.
Custom Projects
If you’re imagining something that doesn’t fit neatly in a list tell me and we can create it together 🙂
How it works
- You reach out with what’s feeling off or what you’re dreaming about. It doesn’t have to sound “official.”
- We chat (message, call, or visit) to see if I’m a good fit and what kind of support makes sense.
- We make a simple plan that feels doable for both of us — clear, kind, and no pressure.
Rates & transparency
I’m keeping this very simple and accessible:
- A fair rate for my time right now is $25–$50 per hour, depending on your budget and the scope.
- Materials (plants, lumber, decor, etc.) are separate and transparent.
- If money is a barrier but you feel strongly that we’d be a good fit, tell me — I’m open to creative arrangements.
I don’t have a big glossy portfolio yet. Most of my work so far has been conceptual, for friends, or part of my professional background in planning and design. Sun Tea Studio is my way of slowly growing into more of this kind of work.
If you’d like support that feels grounded, I’d be glad to talk.
